As a Web Application Development & Support Consultant at this UN organisation in Rome, you will be taking on a 3-6-month contract position (falling outside IR35) with the option to work hybrid onsite in Rome as well as remotely.

Web Application Development & Support Consultant responsibilities:

- Gather functional requirements from users and business analysts
- Update the IT knowledge base
Key requirements for this role in Rome:

- Extensive prior enterprise development experience
- Significant prior experience with Ruby on Rails development framework
- University degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or similar
- Experience managing support tickets, providing feeding, ensuring efficient turnaround of issues
- Strong RoR skills as well as in other web technology platforms
- UNIX systems administration skills
