What you will do

Technical leader is in charge to scope, drive and define validation plan of mechanical and functional technical solutions on products, related to assigned projects.- She/He is in charge to coordinate the job of the different subsystems, she/he is the product system integrator- She/He trains and mentor technical staff and R&D teams through projects, leading the embedment of competency tools and concepts through leadership with technical functions- She/He provides a critical link within project to other process partners such as product design, manufacturing, procurement, marketing and cost department.- She/He plans and follow up the execution of technical modifications and coordinate them among the projects.- She/He supports Projects definition and G0 preparation trough different solutions evaluation and to help marketing in to translate market requirements in technical specifications and the PL to make the budget.- She/He supports design ideas and validation for cost and quality projects.- She/He revises and helps the project teams to release the Stage and Gate technical deliverables.

PRODUCT SYSTEM INTEGRATION- Lead feasibility studies of products and components supporting al the product- Define guidelines to develop new products layouts, new components, sub systems and systems- Translate marketing requirements in technical specifications and lead the product Design Validation Path (DVP)- To support design cost estimations and support costing team- Cooperate with laboratories to develop and verify structural and functional concepts at to define development test plan- Cooperate with procurement to manage technical discussions with supply chain.

TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS DEFINITION:
- To Drive structural R&D technical teams- Analyze and benchmark the competitors’ products and technical solutions

TECHNICAL COMPETENCES OWNERSHIP AND MENTORING:
- Build and develop the capability of engineers- Stage and Gate technical deliverables

What you need to succeed

Must have
- Education:_ University degree (engineering or industrial design or Food science)
- Professional Experience_: total 10 years experience minimum: 5 years in system engineering / technical management role, plus other 3 - 5 years in a technical role (mechanical design, labs, electronic design).
- Languages_: Italian & English fluent
- Technical competence_:
- Mechanic and thermodynamic knowledge,- Key normative requirement for EN60335 (safety, performance)- Project management for technical development: part list, capex list, tasks for product design and validation
- Soft skills_:
- Communication skills- Passion for technical items- Attention to details- Resilience and capacity to work under pressure- Respect for scheduling and deadlines
- Other:_ Availability for international business travels, 1 wk every 1-2 mo

Nice to have

Turkish as plus

Experience in white good sector preferred, better if in cooking area

PMP certification only as plus
