Reporting into the area of Merchandising Financial Planning in Commercial Finance, the Commercial Finance Partner will be supportive in:
**Reporting and Analysis**
- Drive Commercial focus on delivering Budget & periodic business review by providing analysis and strategic support to optimize Sales, Margin and Returns efficiency
- Support Merchandisers with in-depth analysis, planning and forecasting to provide an informed and holistic view of the business
- Regularly deliver performance & results analysis compared to plans to inspire corrective actions or prevent gaps

**Forecasting**
- Support the evaluation of Commercial initiatives and changes in commercial processes by using creative thinking, technical knowledge and statistical methods to design, test and present models of the business to fit potential scenarios
- Develop tactical models, forecasting & analysis aimed at optimizing commercial practices
- Influence Merchandising team on the appropriate actions to achieve the financial plan by leveraging data to create insights and articulate recommendations

**Systems**
- Design, implement and maintain the day-to-day tools and processes of the MFP & Merchandising functions
- Continuously foster innovation of current processes and analytical techniques, questioning the status quo without prejudices

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Exceptional analytical and technical skills: knowledge of statistical and data manipulation methods together with understanding of operational processes into the retail industry in order to provide properly contextualized analysis
- Powerful combination of business acumen and technical expertise in order to ensure full understanding of internal customer’s goals and perspectives, with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Expertise in modelling and report design using Microsoft Office tools and Tableau. Solid technical grounding to adapt to and leverage new technologies as well as lead the specification and implementation of such technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic focus in order to turn ideas into reality

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree: Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics
- At least 2 years of experience in the role or as Business/Data Analyst
- Fluent in English and Italian

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations, share perspectives and influence up to Senior Management and Executive level
- Proven accountability in managing owned workload, prioritizing tasks and deliveries, managing internal customer expectations and meeting deadlines within mínimal supervision
- Ability to play as part of a performing team and to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
