As a Pastry Chef de Partie at Zuma, desserts are the perfect finale to an extraordinary dining experience, and you’ll play a vital role in crafting these masterpieces. Your expertise, creativity, and leadership will ensure the highest standards of quality while inspiring junior team members to grow and excel.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Porto Cervo. Set against the stunning green-blue coastline of Sardinia, our exceptional restaurant captures the essence of a truly iconic seasonal experience within one of the Mediterranean's most prestigious destinations. Zuma Porto Cevo is proud to be part of the Azumi Collection.

**Main Duties**
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintain sufficient mise en place levels to ensure smooth service flow, while focusing on minimizing waste
- Monitor the quality, consistency, appearance, and taste of all pastry products, delivering perfection in every dish
- Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring compliance with Zuma’s rigorous cleanliness and safety standards
- Explore and learn other kitchen sections to enhance team collaboration and efficiency
- Maintain high personal hygiene and appearance standards, reflecting Zuma’s commitment to excellence
- Coach and mentor Pastry Commis Chefs, helping them develop their skills and align with Zuma’s high standards of quality and consistency
