**What you will be responsible for**:

- Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of high and low-voltage power distribution systems for a hydroelectric-powered crypto mining data center.
- Monitor and manage power supply systems to ensure optimal and continuous operation, minimizing power interruptions and faults.
- Perform accurate electricity calculations, timely reporting, and maintenance of detailed records of power usage, incidents, and repairs.
- Identify and analyze electrical hazards, providing actionable solutions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety, skill development, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and manage spare parts, tools, and meters to ensure operational readiness and timely repairs.
- Oversee and maintain clean and organized workspaces within designated electrical areas.

**How you will stand out**:

- ** Education**: Technical secondary school or higher, with a major in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- ** Experience**: At least 9 years of hands-on experience in high and low-voltage power systems, with strong expertise in the maintenance and operation of substations and distribution facilities.
- ** Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and power monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with power management in energy-intensive data centers or industrial facilities is highly preferred.
- ** Leadership**: Proven experience supervising and mentoring junior team members, with strong project and resource management skills.
- ** Safety Compliance**: Extensive understanding of safety regulations and operational standards for high-voltage electrical systems.

The exposure will not be constant but could occupy a large amount of a person’s time during the day while on-site. Safety & Noise reduction equipment will be provided by the company.
