Introduction

As Inside Sales Support you are the first point of contact for the Italian customers of Shimano’s bicycle department. You ensure a clear and customer oriented communication towards the customers.

Contract type: Temporary 1 year finalized to permanent

The Challenge
- Register and monitor orders of customers that come in by phone and the online order system
- Take care about payments collections and order release
- Supply customers with up-to-date product-, price
- and order information. You use your technical knowledge of the products to provide customers with technical information.
- Answer customers’ questions and manner their problems with care.
- Actively approach customers yourself, f.e. in case of sales actions.
- Supply sales representatives with relevant information.

What are we looking for?
- A secondary vocational education level and preferably experience in a similar commercial position.
- Experience with automated order processing
- Affinity with and knowledge of the bicycle industry and the Shimano product range are required.
- Affinity or passion with fishing tackle is considered as a plus.
- Good knowledge of the English language, both verbally as in writing.
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Directly available or on a short term.

- You ensure clear communication towards customers: You keep them updated on work and order progress. You repeat and summarize customers’ demands to check whether they have been understood correctly and discuss mutual expectations.
- Together with your colleagues you work towards a collective goal. You share your knowledge with them and you react when you notice that colleagues need help.
- In case of questions and problems you are able to map out the situation, to collect the necessary information and to take the right steps.
- You switch quickly and efficient between various tasks and you are willing to do extra work when required by the situation.
- You work accurately, with an eye for detail and you work according to agreed procedures.
