Biodiversity & Ecosystem Advisor

RINA is looking for an **Biodiversity & Ecosystem Advisor **to join the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Team for its office in Genoa, Rome or Milan.
**Main Tasks**
- work jointly with other colleagues in the Environmental Engineering department for multidisciplinary projects
- support the team both for desk-top tasks and field tasks such as preparing reports or parts of reports
- take part to onshore and offshore site visit both in Italy and abroad
- be able to manage Biodiversity typical deliverables such as habitat assessment, ecosystem services studies, biodiversity action plans, assessment/gap analysis of international biodiversity standards (etc.)
**Experience and Requirements**:
- Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or similar
- 2+ year experience in similar assignments
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus)
- Familiarity with national environmental/biodiversity regulation and international standards
- Familiarity with GIS tools
- Familiarity with other environmental modelling and monitoring tools will be considered as an advantage
- Availability for business trip and mission in Italy and abroad
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, on challenging and diversified activities and on tight schedules
- Proactivity and problem solving attitude
