Summary:
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprisewide systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Quality and Certifications Leader
- Organize the solution records of the companies by products / delivery / Customer
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of all certifications including:

- Certifications of the products, according to specific project needs or sector needs (Railway): coordinate the activities, the necessary documentation, involving the necessary actors to make the things to happen (e.g. TUV, Rina, consultants, specialists,..)
- Technical / Design Review to validate the Project (upside: Product?) prior to purchase any item and to receive a green light from Customer
- Manage Product Risk Analysis and design reviews and track any information according to the internal or customer specific quality procedures requirements
- Ensure BOM per products
- Prepare, organize, ensure proper documentation per project or per product according to business needs (working with PLM, R&D team and PM)
- Keeping ISO procedures and processes update in accordance to Viavi and BU needs. (At current Comtest is 9001, 14001, 27001. The BU will probably go in the same direction)

Supply Chain Leader
- Prepare the RFP (Request For Purchase) to meet Project / Inventory need
- check timing of vendors and suppliers to ensure the delivery
- keep track of logistics and monitoring the company's inventory
- coordinate internal and external resources to fulfill Project requirements
- collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations (e.g. shipping, delivery) meet quality and safety standards
- prepare the delivery documents
- keep track of the deliveries
- Monitors the performance of suppliers (including RMA - Return Merchandise Authorization) assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
- Suggest solutions for process improvements (Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions)
- Product Maintainance: collaborating with other departments, coordinate the implementation of new product releases or corrective actions, basing on specific customer requests, monitored quality KPIs, or technical support analysis.

- Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials in the warehouse to optimize production
