Our client is a global leader in home entertainment, renowned for creating collectibles, scale models, DIY courses, and engaging kids' edutainment products. Over the past four years, the company has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving from a collections/kiosks operator (35% of revenue) to a pioneering force in direct-to-consumer home entertainment through subscription services (65% of revenue).

**Role**

As a D2C Payment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the effectiveness of payment strategy. You will integrate and optimize cutting-edge payment methods, minimize fraud and bad debt risks, and ensure precise cost control within the payment process. We are looking for a manager with a proactive attitude, driving change, leveraging data, initiating initiatives, and leading cross-functional projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Payment Strategy: Define strategies tailored to each product and market
- Integration & Optimization: Collaborate with IT/Technology teams to onboard new payment platforms
- User Experience: Ensure seamless and successful customer payments
- Negotiation & Expansion: Scout and negotiate with payment platforms to broaden the payment spectrum and reduce fees
- Dunning & Collections: Manage dunning processes and credit collections

**Requirements**:

- Financial Background: Strong analytical skills are crucial
- Payment Market Knowledge: Experience with major providers such as Adyen, Braintree, Paypal, Stripe, etc.
- Technical Proficiency: Collaborate closely with tech and product teams
- Business Acumen: Previous cross-functional roles are advantageous
- Data Tools: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Qlik, or other BI tools is a plus
