- Purpose of the position
- Prevent the generation of defects in upcoming PV/EV projects by analysing the design parameters & circuit diagrams, confirming the quality history, assessing the child parts and reviewing the processes at TML and supplier end to ensure defect free launch of product.
- Key Responsibilities:
- To be aligned with project milestones in terms of quality deliverables through continual involvement with stakeholders e.g. ERC, CE Office, PAT teams, Engg. Quality, P&SQ etc.
- Participation in troubleshooting and analysis of E&E related issues appearing at the various stages of projects (PAT validation, LRD, QAP, CTF, BITS) by being the active member of the CFT.
- Enhancement of quality history database by recording the E&E related quality issues appearing in current running program and after sales vehicles (QRT) and ensuring its avoidance in upcoming projects.
- Giving quality requirements for all HIHR parts after understanding the detailed design requirement from RFQ.
- Participation in TRSO, TDKO, TMKO, DFMEA, PFMEA, design reviews, DMU, PPAP etc. to identify the possible failure modes and work towards its prevention.
- Responsible for identification of CTQ (Critical to Quality) parameters in design/drawing from DFMEA and its cascading into process parameters at supplier end.
- Agreement of Inspection (AOI) & ensure its sign off with all stakeholders
- AQ, Supplier, ERC, VQA.
- Assessment of the supplier processes to ensure the good quality output by mapping the available process controls in L1, L2 and L3 categories and establish the necessary pokayoke required.
- Review of various reports being released at different stages of project e.g. green report, FIRs, supplier test reports for design and process validations, problem solving reports etc. to identify the scope of improvement in product.
- Timely clearance of DCRs and VAVE ideas after its in-depth assessment in all respect to have a flawless transition.
- Participation in Innovation, Cost reduction ideas, Knowledge sharing sessions

Functional & Technical knowledge
- EV/ICE-Vehicle electrical architecture, E&E /EV components function knowledge, vehicle diagnostics, basic understanding of SDLC, CAN/LIN/K-LINE communication protocols
- Systems knowledge: (preferred): PLM, MINT, TCUA, TDS
- Skill requirement: Excellent written, presentation & communication skills. Proficiency in MS office tools. Quick learning and analytical thinking.

- Graduation in Electrical Engg. /Electronics & Communication Engg. / Electrical & Electronics Engg. / Electrical Instrumentation Engg/Mechatronics

- Will be responsible for ensuring achievement of New Project Quality deliverables for Trims parts
- Ensuring resolution of past/potential failures in new programs through failure mode avoidance approach throughout product design and development phase
- Identify Critical to Quality parameters as outcome of DFMEA and cascading of the same to manufacturing processes for ensuring capability achievement.
- Participate in all DFMEAs(System, part and supplier) and ensure preventive action and detection controls for the failures addressed
- Resolution of validation and build issues through problem solving tools like 8D/QC story
- Conducting craftsmanship audit & drive for issue resolution along with Design/Part/Process team.
- Contribute in overall department objective of defect free launch of new programs by failure mode
