**Job description**:
To support as project leader the BE R&D team in product and package development by new assembly processes/materials and to characterize them (with special focus on Die Attach and innovative die to pkg interconnections) including the identification and characterization of their impact on our packaging assembly flow.

Pkg development will focus on the Power and RF GaN technologies as main area of responsibility.
This will allow BE R&D team to introduce in production new packages/processes/materials in compliance with quality/reliability requirement and package mission profile providing a robust solution including compatibility check with recent silicon technologies development and in accordance with the latest Front End / Back End compatibility rules, guidance and constrains.

Main job responsibilities and tasks will be:

- to introduce innovative process/materials in the packaging manufacturing assembly flow,
- to characterize and introduce relevant equipment and processes,
- to interface with BEM&T central functions and plants for industrialization of the processes/equipment,
- to bring the assembly process through the maturity levels according to relevant SOPs,
- to follow the start up of production in the assembly sites.

**Profile**:

- Good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
- Problem Solving Methods. & Tools, DOE (Design of Experiment), Qualification Methodology.
- Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership and able to work under high pressure.
- Proactive attitude, more devoted to problem solving and able to manage different tasks in the same time.
- Team work and Multi-Culture environment ability.
- Good presentation skills; ability to interface with Customers and Assembly sites.
- Available to intercontinental travel.
