You will join our Environment and Health Department in Milan or Rome

**Your new role**
As our new ESA Junior consultant, you will have gained 1-2 years’ experience in Compliance, Transaction and Corporate Services as a broad area, with specific focus on Environmental Site Assessment, due diligence work in the M&A sector and soil and groundwater investigation with emphasis on sustainability assessment, planning and strategy.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Execution of ESA Due Diligence
- Execution and coordination of soil, soil gas and groundwater investigations
- Taking direct part in the assignments, with direct interaction with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) and implies strong soft skills (e.g. negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem-solving and teamwork
- Proposal and reporting in** Italian** and **English**language

You will be part of our successful team composed by engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. These include:

- A Master level university degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering or similar
- Minimum 1/2 years of relevant experience in Due Diligence and soil, soil gas and groundwater investigation
- Knowledge and familiarity with D. Lgs 152/2006 and D. Lgs. 81/2008, ASTM standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken **Italian & English**, a third language (e.g. German, Spanish, French) is a plus
