They coordinate and supervise the activities of different departments, such as engineering, maintenance, production, quality control, human resources, and logistics. He/she will also communicate with external stakeholders like customers, suppliers, regulators, and investors. He/She will be responsible to: - Developing and implementing operational strategies and policies for the plant. - Setting and monitoring key performance indicators and operational metrics. - Analyzing and optimizing production processes and workflows. - Managing and resolving operational issues and risks. - Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating plant staff. - Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and regulations. - Implementing and maintaining quality management systems and certifications. - Negotiating and managing contracts and agreements with vendors and customers, as well as reporting and presenting operational results and recommendations to senior management. Di cosa hai bisogno per aver successo - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related scientific field, advanced degree (MBA or PhD) preferred. - 15 years in plant operations (leadership role) in pharmaceutical industry. - Leadership drive and strategic acumen. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Experience in P&L responsibility - Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and other software tools. - Fluent English in written and verbal format. The ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize; and the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team are all necessary qualifications.
