**Duties**:

- Safety and Occupational Health Manager for a brigade-sized unit with responsibility for planning, managing, and administering a safety and occupational health program.
- Plans, prepares, staffs, and submits to relevant organizations training requests, schedules, waivers, and memorandums impacting training attendance or execution.
- Serves as technical expert to identify, analyze, and provide risk management control measures for life-threatening hazards.
- Assesses the effectiveness of the Safety Program to identify strengths and weaknesses and develops methods and techniques to improve operational and systemic deficiencies.
- Provides training and technical expertise to support training readiness to effectively train all Brigade Soldiers and Civilians with emphasis on the Intelligence Warfighter.
- Provides training advice and guidance based on professional expertise in training regulations, training policies, and training databases.
- Develops and presents relevant lesson plans, support materials, lessons learned, and risk management information for instructional use and in preparation for deployment into an Area of Operations.

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on a single scope background investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- May be required to perform Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 10% of the time on an annual basis.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone - no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
