**Main purpose of the role**:
Within Group Regulatory Affairs Team, the new resource will work on various regulatory and scientific activities. The person will contribute and support the organization in related to compliance, to asses their impact on the business and to comply with them.

**What you will do**:

- Contribute to the regulatory assessment of food additives and ingredients;
- Support in the compliance assessment of ingredients and product formulations;
- Contribute to the safety assessment of ingredients and products;
- Monitor and report to internal stakeholder regulatory developments in EU on: food additives and related specifications, contaminants and other relevant topics;
- Monitor and report accordingly other regulatory initiatives applicable to the confectionery industry as requested.

**Who you are**:

- Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (chemistry or in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology/Pharmacy or in biology/biotechnology);
- 3 years experience in a food manufacturing organization or food related business in a regulatory and/or quality function;
- Experience in ingredients/products compliance assessment;
- Knowledge of EU food/food additive legislation (other non-EU countries, i.e. US, APAC, LATAM would be considered a plus);
- Ideally with at least a basic competence in toxicology;
- Fluency in English;
- Strong interest in studying and learning diverse topics in the food legislation and standards context;
- High degree of organization and detail-oriented;
- Ability to work under pressure meeting strict deadlines and to handle confidential activites;
- Ability to work in teams and to coordinate activities with other colleagues also located in other countries;
- Capacity to communicate effectively at all levels.
