**About Aethos Monterosa**

In the middle of the Aosta Valley below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers lies Aethos Monterosa. A 30-room five-star luxury resort with two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. We are currently on a pre-winter season break, and when we reopen, the hotel has to be filled with life and a new team The essence of great hospitality will however always be an outstanding team. **Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities**:

- ** Station Mastery**: Are you ready to own your kitchen station? You’ll be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your section, ensuring every plate that leaves your station is a work of art.
- ** Culinary Creativity**: Do you have a passion for crafting exceptional dishes? You’ll bring your creative flair to the kitchen, working closely with the head chef to develop new menu items and ensure our offerings are always fresh and exciting.
- ** Team Leadership**: Are you a natural leader? You’ll guide and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow recipes, techniques, and standards while maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment.
- ** Quality Control**: Ready to ensure every dish meets our high standards? You’ll meticulously check the quality of ingredients, the consistency of dishes, and the overall presentation, making sure everything is up to our standards of excellence.
- ** Efficient Preparation**: Can you keep things running smoothly under pressure? You’ll organize and prioritize tasks in your section, ensuring that everything is prepped and ready for service while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- ** Inventory Management**: Are you detail-oriented? You’ll monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and place orders as needed, ensuring that your station is always well-equipped and minimizing waste.
- ** Health and Safety**: Do you take pride in a clean and safe kitchen? You’ll uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, ensuring that all kitchen activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- ** Collaborative Cooking**: Are you a team player? You’ll work closely with the rest of the kitchen brigade, communicating clearly and effectively to ensure smooth service, especially during busy periods.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Are you always looking to improve? You’ll stay updated on the latest culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients, bringing new ideas to the table and continuously refining your skills.

**Core Competencies**:

- Fluent in English & Italian is a must
- 1+ years of hospitality experience is a plus
- A deep passion for culinary arts and a commitment to excellence in every dish you create.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-quality kitchen.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire your team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative and innovative approach to cooking, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen regulations.
- The physical stamina to work long hours in a demanding kitchen environment.
