For a chemical multinational company we are searching for a **Head of Industrial Relations** Who will lead the Italy People Operations team to execute and deliver on global strategies and goals and local initiatives in Italy; Drive continuous improvement for Operational Exellence and enhanced Customer Experience. Develop a highly engaged Italy People Operations team to enable leaders for local workforce development and engagement to support business growth. Key Responsabilities - Continuously improve team engagement by creating learning and development opportunities, performance coaching and feedback, support to team member’s career progressions and recognitions of individual/team accomplishments and the society’s way behaviours - Implement the global people operations strategies by aligning and delivering on the goals and priorities of People Operations Italy through a highly engaged team - Increase efficiency of the Italy People Operations team by providing role clarity and defined accountabilities and helping people to do their best - Drive continuous improvement in people processes for better team productivity, operational excellence and enhanced customer experience - Enable leaders to improve local/country workforce capabilities - Influence society’s leader to increase diversity, equity & inclusion representation and engagement of local/country workforce - Execute organizational changes/restructures in partnership with HRBPs and country/site business leaders - Manage successful integrations of new acquisitions - Flawlessly execute and simplify fundamental HR processes and harmonization of policies/rules in Italy - Oversight and accountability for Italy payroll team - Development and delivery Labour Relations strategy, including close collaboration with unions - Drive & implement change in HR practices across People Operations team as well as with key business partners & managers/employees - Support the delivery of HR services through centralized support center (PPSC) through strong partnership and ability to identify additional work to be supported by PPSC and technology Actively partecipate in regional & global People Operations projects for self-development and contribution to global PO accomplishments. Qualifications: - 7+ years of general HR experience with 3-5 years leading a team of > 5 people - Strong business and continuous improvement mind-set - Direct experience with industrial & union negotiations **Skills**: - High level of ability to collaborate and to engage with key partners (business leaders, HRBP’s ) - Solid team leadership (mentor, engaging, perfomance management, developing top talent and successions) - Data analytics and data driven decision making - Proficient project management skills - Lean Six Sigma mind-set driving continuous improvement - Proficient english - Impeccable integrity, outstanding interpersonal skills, able to communicate and engage personnel at II levels of the organization Working place: Province of Alessandria The search is open to male and female (L. 903/77).
