Product Specialist

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Efficiently manage the execution of our Warranty Policy
- Review and update compressor troubleshooting methods for accuracy
- Initiate and review communications to the OEMs
- Respond to Customer Support requests
- Initiate Aftermarket Programs/Projects
- Perform customer visits and technical trainings (onsite and offsite)
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Perform compressor/parts failure analysis
- Identify product and service improvements/corrective actions through direct and indirect customer interaction
- Support corrective action activities
- Responsible for understanding and complying with our quality policy, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being
- Coordinate internal/external technical communication
- Collaborating and strategizing with the business and engineering teams
- Attending workshops and refresher courses in sales and marketing
- Performing product demonstrations for customers
- Scheduling training sessions and attending meetings as required

**Background & Skills**:

- 5+ year experience within technical product with solid networking with key stakeholders in the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration industry
- Practical and theoretical Chiller and Refrigeration knowledge
- Proven technical analytic and problem solving skills with the ability to proactively manage and win technical opportunities to meet business growth objectives
- Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and work with team members
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English. Communication skills in German will be an asset.
- Strong Microsoft Windows Applications experience
- Extensive travel in Europe and Middle East region will be required (typically 35% of time but can be 50% of time during peak periods) so a base close to an international airport is preferred
