Local Finance role
- Accounting & Finance: Responsibilities to be defined by local requirements and contract (general accounting role - general ledger, cash&banks, receivables/payables, salaries, inventory accounting, preparation of local FS, audit coordination etc.)
- Tax: Responsibilities to be defined by local requirements and contract (general tax role - income tax, withholding tax, VAT/sales tax etc.)
- Controlling: Responsibilities to be defined by local requirements and contract.
Global Finance role
- Accounting:
- Monthly reporting of ESET entity financial results to HQ via monthly reporting exercise (reporting package submission)
- Reconciliations of GL Accounts on regular basis
- Monthly revenue reconciliation (for sales & distribution entities)
- Support by preparation (collection of additional accounting information above local accounting requirements) and audit of consolidated financial statements (providing supporting documentation for audit samples)
- Support individual and ad-hoc HQ requirements/questions related to local accounting (explanation of entries; information about local accounting system set up & requirements, evaluation of projects based on local accounting requirements)
- Support to achieve unification and standardization of accounting in ESET group
- One contact point between HQ Finance Division and respective ESET Entity (to communicate and manage cross department tasks and projects)
- Tax:
- Cooperation in the area of transfer pricing (provision of supporting information for calculation of arm's length prices, preparation/support of local TP documentation, etc.)
- Provision of corporate income tax calculation (current/deferred) for the purposes of consolidated audit and support in answering of additional questions
- Explanation of movements/balances on tax related accounts based on ad-hoc requests
- Provision of tax related information based on management ad-hoc requests
- Providing information about planned changes in country economic environment (e.g. tax law)
- Controlling:
- Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances - internal support
- Reporting, analysis/comparison and interpretation of ESET entity financial results for defined period
- Support monthly closing activities
- Implementation of financial and reporting IT systems of ESET group (If applicable)
- Support and advisory to internal customers regarding their business requirements
- Develop and document business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls; Improvement of existing reporting systems
- Handling of individual projects driven byt HQ Finance division
- Finance (Cash&Banks, Receivables/Payables)
- Intercompany billings and settlement, intercompany confirmations
- Invoicing and Overdue receivables management, reporting
- Cash flow management
- Banking & Bank accounts reconciliation
