We have high ambitions for growth in renewable energy in Italy. We need to strengthen our team with a communications expert to support the Country Manager, and the Wind and Solar development as well as the Markets activities. Reporting to the VP of Communications for European Wind and Solar based in Oslo, you will be part of an inspired, international communications team, committed to a carbon-neutral future and delivering outstanding communications support to the business. This role is based in Milan.

**About you**

As the Communications Manager you will be responsible for:

- Provide communications support to Country Manager and business units active in the Italy, including coordinating all comms work in the country
- Develop an integrated communications and marketing strategy and plan for Italy
- Build and maintain Statkraft’s brand in the country, through local and national media channels, events and marketing
- Secure that all communications and marketing activities are compliant with relevant corporate requirements and policies
- Plan and execute communication activities for project development, construction and operation, in close cooperation with project management teams, public affairs and stakeholder management activities.
- Plan and execute marketing activities, lead generation and events
- Media relations management - pitching to media, dealing with queries and drafting of press materials such as press releases and briefing notes
- Manage Italian social media accounts, and liaise with the corporate team on the Statkraft social media accounts
- Manage and update the Italian website (statkraft.it, and project websites as required
- Identify content such as video, imagery and stories for use on internal and external channels
- Draft other communications materials such as brochures, articles, presentations and scripts
- Manage external agencies for communications support as needed
**What we are looking for**
- University degree within a relevant field with documented extensive experience.
- 5 years + of relevant experience from communications work
- Experience and working knowledge in website and social media management would be an advantage
- An interest in, and passion for, renewable energy development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
- Skilled copywriting and editing experience with excellent attention to detail
- An understanding of how to effectively communicate with community groups and the general public as well as the corporate target groups.
- An entrepreneurial mindset - a practical doer who delivers quality results on time
- A team player with strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
- Strong organisation skills and time management skills, with an energetic approach and a proven ability to work to deadlines
- Experience from the Italian renewable industry is an advantage.
