We are seeking for a responsible Head Receptionist capable of overseeing all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties, as well as coordinate the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone.

Front Desk Supervisor responsibilities are:

- Leading the reception team
- Schedules the front office staff
- Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated
- Prepare reports and budget for the front office department.
- Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
- Operate all aspects of Front Office computer system, including software maintenance, report generation, and analysis, and simple configuration changes.
- Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily.
- Checks cashiers and verifies deposits at the end of each shift
- Works within the allocated budget for the front office.
- Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments
- Monitor all regular and V.I.P 's guests and requests.
- Participates in departmental meetings
- Building an engaged, enthusiastic & service reception team

Head Receptionist requirements are:

- Fluent spoken and written English
- Previous Front Office Management experience in the guest services, front desk or related professional area.
- Degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major.
- High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Ability to handle all kind of situations, even when under pressure

It would be beneficial for a Head Receptionist to:

- Speak other languages: Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish and French are an advantage.
- Have knowledge of the local area
- Adaptability and flexibility

Pay, duration and benefits:

- Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period.
- Starting in November and until the end of March.
- Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience
- Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement.
- If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €250,00/month
