We are looking for a Pre-sales Technical Support Professional, committed to automation systems portfolio, to be hired with a permanent contract in **Bologna** within the **DI FA **area.

**Your Challenge**

As Pre-sales Technical Support Professional for Automation Systems your mission will be to support Sales Force and Customers during the offering phase of automation systems, by selecting the best solution based on Simatic Automation System portfolio.

Some of the main activities will be:

- Support the customers and partners during the technological implementation of automation tasks
- Technical promotion of the automation products based on SIMATIC automation solutions
- Presentation of the technical features of products / solutions during presales phases
- Support the sales force in the technical promotion of automation solutions
- Organize training and technical workshops to spread the know-how among the customers

**To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have**:

- Bachelor/master degree in electrical/automation/electronic or equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of PLC, HMI & SCADA. It will be a plus the knowledge of drive techniques, electric motors, motion control
- Passionate and ready to learn new topics about PLC features, automation in general and most of all digitalization applied to automation systems
- Capability to simplify and represent technical concepts and transmit them to customers
- Willingness to lead presentations or workshops
- Knowledge of high level programming languages (preferably C#, JavaScript, HTML and Python) not to be used in a daily work but will be a plus
- Available to short business trips
- Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken;
- Result orientation and customer orientation
- Work effectively in autonomy and as a member of a team
