**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
The Vehicle Access & Parking Permit (VAPP) Manager will lead the VAPP program to ensure that only those vehicles deemed essential are granted access to areas within and around venues.

The VAPP Manager will work as part of the Venue Transport Team initially leading the planning for the VAPP program, and ultimately oversee its delivery and implementation during the Winter Olympic Games.

In particular, he/she will:

- develop and deliver an efficient, controlled and cost effective VAPP program;
- lead the development of the VAPP operations plan, including relevant policies, procedures, permit design and all technical content;
- work with the relevant Venue Transport (Cluster) Manager, Venue Development & Overlay, Security and Venue Management to determine the parking availability at all venues to be governed by the VAPP programme;
- working across Milano Cortina 2026 Functional Areas and our Games Delivery Partners, determine the required allocation of VAPPs;
- communicate and negotiate the access and parking requirements for each client group;
- develop and maintain the VAPPs database;
- working with the relevant local authority, assist with the development of an appropriate Local Access Permit (LAP) scheme;
- effectively contribute to the collation and documentation of specific VAPP information for the Transfer of Games Knowledge required by the International Olympic Committee and as defined in Games Manuals; work within the Venue Transport team to ensure that the Milano Cortina 2026 VAPPs program is adequately resourced with suitably qualified and experienced personnel to deliver a successful Winter Olympics.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Games Experience desirable;
- English Level B2;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Interpersonal communication skills, organization and autonomy in the development of activities;
- Demonstrated ability to present to a wide variety of audiences both internally and externally;
- Previous experience in transport planning in previous sporting or non-sporting events of international interest;
- Previous experience in management of access control.
