Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Capri. Perched on the rooftop of the Capri Palace Jumeirah, with breath-taking views, Zuma Capri is perfect setting for the Zuma experience - the true spirit of La Dolce Vita. **Main Duties**
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Ensure mise en place levels are maintained to guarantee smooth service, with a focus on quality, consistency, and impeccable presentation
- Embrace opportunities to learn and grow, gaining experience across various kitchen sections under the guidance of senior chefs
- Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage practices and minimizing waste
- Prepare food products according to recipes, ensuring precision, care, and adherence to the highest preparation standards
- Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas and maintain clean, organized workstations in line with Zuma’s high standards
- Follow Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment at all times

- Proven experience as a commis chef in a luxury high-volume restaurant
