T-Hub South has the responsibility to deliver on time and efficiently our goods to our customers, its perimeter extends from Iberia to Greece, Italy included. The capacity specialist is a senior-level associate forming part of both the planning and execution teams responsible for transportation planning and operations. Within the team, you will perform execution-level service-provider relationship management, ad-hoc provider selection, loss recovery, and other transportation cost/service-based optimization activities for Nestle as they pertain to the selection and management of provider capacity. **A day in the life of Capacity Specialist - Transportation** - Execute hub strategies based on cost and service while ensuring carriers are assigned to move all planned loads - Identify and escalate gaps in carrier coverage with respect to factors like service, cost, and performance - Undertake role of being operational point of contact for all carrier queries - Strongly collaborate with Internal Stakeholders such as Load Compliance Coordinator, Scheduling Specialist, Service Specialist, Transportation Procurement Manager and with External ones such as Third-party carriers **What will make you successful** - Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics - At least 1 year in Transportation/Logistics/Planning as Capacity Specialist - Understanding of cost vs. service tradeoff - Understanding of supply chain principles associated with "total delivered cost" - Advanced MS Office Skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point..) - SAP Skills is a plus - Fluent English is a MUST, other languages is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Analitycs and problem solving attitude - Proactive cooperation - Capability to work in team - Proactive and curious person - Ability and interest in working in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment
