We are looking for a Quality Specialist Engineer to join our Electrification business. You will be the refence for strategic projects and support the deployment of the Quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations.

**This position reports to**:
Quality Control Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Be the reference for strategic projects for our BU.
- Work directly with quality management within cross-functional teams. Manage project groups and indirect teams.
- Support to activities mainly related to the study of a test model based on DMA test machine for the identification and control of plastic parts, assessing any anomalies and possible impact on the life cycle of the product.
- Be involved in the metallographic part, or study and analysis of the silver islands on the components used by us.
- Analysis of data accumulated on the topic of engineering performance by the CQ office.
- Detection of more significant physical/mechanical tests study and analysis of the silver islands on the components.

**Your background**:

- Graduated in Mechanical Engineer.
- 1/2 years of experience in a similar role (production area).
- GREEN BELT Certification Lean Six Sigma or a lean manufacturing certification.
- Good knowledge of software for mechanical design and modeling (such as CATIA) and software for database analysis.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Good knowledge of English and Italian.
- Team working skills, able to work in autonomy, good relational skills.
- Availability to travel.
