**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced European Sales and Business Manager (Contract) to lead sales growth in Europe and provide oversight of our European manufacturing and logistics partners. This role is designed as an independent contractor agreement, not an employment contract, and the individual will be responsible for their own taxes, social contributions, and business registration in compliance with local laws.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive annual sales growth in Europe, achieving targets aligned with Bivar’s global business plan.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and key customers.
- Act as liaison with European manufacturing and logistics partners to ensure operational performance and delivery reliability.
- Provide market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity, and industry trends.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across Europe.
- Provide regular sales and operational updates to Bivar’s executive team.
**Key Outcomes Expected**
- Increased design-in wins and deeper distributor/OEM engagement.
- Reliable performance from European partners in support of customer needs.
- Enhanced visibility into European market opportunities and risks.
- Consistent delivery of sales and margin growth targets.
**Requirements**:
- Proven track record in sales and business management within the electronics or industrial sector.
- Strong network of distributor and OEM relationships across Europe.
- Experience working with or overseeing third-party manufacturing and logistics partners.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate as an independent contractor, managing own business/tax compliance.
- Availability to visit European customers, approximately 8 days per month.
**Engagement Details**
- Independent contract agreement (not employment).
- Compensation is structured on a monthly retainer and performance incentive/project basis.
- Initial agreement term: 12 or 24 months with potential renewal.
- Location: Based in Northern Italy.
