**Position Summary**:
We're looking for a **Senior Buyer Aluminium Casting **in **Rivoli **(TO) or **Luserna San Giovanni **(TO) Location

This position is responsible to lead all sourcing activities in assigned commodities to ensure purchasing leverages in order to maximize regional and global synergies while executing professional sourcing of products

**Main Responsibilities**:
He/ She will be responsible to purchase ALUMINIUM CASTINGS and MACHINE CASTINGS, to define and deploy strategy for the assigned suppliers and products, in order to secure right level of quality, delivery, costs, feature, technology, sustainability and risk management.

In addition to the operational purchasing activities for assigned suppliers, He/She will be responsible for ensuring all sourcing activities, following the sourcing process, performed on global scale, and has full responsibility for all deliverables at consolidated commodity level.

He She is responsible for negotiations/ agreements

**Main opportunities and challenges**:

- Develop and execute Purchasing strategies under the assigned commodity castings in line with the Regional commodity Strategy establishing and keeping relationships with existing and new suppliers at an international level
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce overall costs and improve effectiveness
- Perform strategic Purchasing activities, searching for better deals and find more profitable suppliers
- Negotiate and improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers

**Job Position Requirements**:
**Education**

University bachelor degree

**Professional background**

Buyer or senior buyer with min 5 year of experience, with knowledge of aluminium castings (preffered) or forgings, who has worked in a multinational environment, automotive, white goods or industrial
