**Posizione**:
**Position Purpose**:
The Category Lead (CL) will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the Regional sourcing strategies and supplier relationships. This strategy should meet Petronas Lubricants International (PLI) customer’s needs by leveraging purchases, to provide greater value in cost, speed, delivery, responsiveness and quality of services offered. He / she will identify and lead cross functional sourcing projects and events within the category.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- According to business line and Procurement Manager he/she defines the best strategy to manage the category assigned.
- Lead Professional Services activities and Marketing spending (Capex and Opex) in order to achieve Company goals.
- Sustain people hard and soft skills development
- Drive the development and implementation of category procurement strategies
- Lead sourcing strategy development within cross functional sourcing teams
- According to business line input determine Regional or local characteristics of supply markets and implement strategies accordingly
- Construct/execute multiple complex analyses
- Drive sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQ’s and key negotiations
- Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and actively involve stakeholders in the development of optimization plans
- Own key supplier relationship, and lead key supplier conflict resolutions
- Provide sufficient information for business planning process
- Develop cost reduction project portfolio
- Provide price forecast for key materials and services
- Lead procurement change processes in your categories
- Responsible to coordinate with Legal Department Contract development and reviews
- Responsible for the new Supplier selection and develop alternative products and/or services in line with the functional areas
- Document and Review Purchasing Process
- Supervise Open Orders Report - Aging orders
- Follow up stakeholders on purchase orders status, dates and closure related
- Develop analysis for materials spending: by supplier, by category, by business area and by cost center

**Requisiti**:
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree (Poly technical, Business or related disciplines); Master or MBA desirable
- Relevant advanced degree or training / certificate in supply chain or procurement preferred
- A good command of business English in both speaking and writing.

**Skills/Experience/Knowledge**:

- Ability to build solid relationships within and outside the company on local, regional and global level
- Strong commercial acumen and an ability to work well under pressure with competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies
- Actively participate in the further development of the PLI Procurement organisation
- Demonstrated skill to lead a category team
- Demonstrated track record of success in managing complex, cross-functional activities and in identifying cost reduction opportunities in this category
