- Position: Data Scientist Plant & Soil Health
Location: Remote
Department: Product Biology
**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead data extraction, processing, analysis, reporting, and visualization for soil and plant health experiments
- Collaborate with technical managers to design precise and effective experiments
- Explore and implement predictive analytics methods to create business value
- Work with global, regional, and country teams to meet data analysis and visualization requirements
- Integrate various data sources, both internal and external to Syngenta, into your analyses and models
- Stay current with data analytics developments and incorporate new methods
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Statistics or Natural Sciences (e.g., Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry)
- Advanced knowledge of R programming, including function and package development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, international team
- Agile mindset with a focus on delivering results
