**ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER IN CHARGE OF CIGARS**:
Job purpose

The Assistant Bar Manager in charge of cigars is responsible for overseeing the cigar lounge operations within the exclusive member club. They ensure the highest standards of service for members and guests who enjoy premium cigars, managing inventory, providing expert advice, and creating a luxurious atmosphere.

**Main Activities and Responsibilities**:
Assist the Bar Manager in supervising and managing all bar staff, including bartenders and barbacks, ensuring proper training and performance.
Support the Bar Manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.
Help manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock control, to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
Maintain an extensive selection of premium cigars, accessories, and humidors, curating the inventory to meet the preferences of members and guests.
Provide expert advice and recommendations on cigar selection, storage, cutting, and lighting techniques to enhance the experience for members and guests.
Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering, receiving and stock control, to minimize waste and optimize profitability and to ensure cigar availability and freshness.
Support the Bar Manager in monitoring financial performance, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the cigar lounge area.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cigar lounge, including humidor maintenance and cigar storage.
Collaborate with the Bar Manager and Food & Beverage Manager to develop and implement promotions, events, and tastings to attract cigar enthusiasts and enhance the club's offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing members inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to cigars promptly and professionally.
Stay updated on industry trends, new releases, and cigar-related events to continuously improve the bar's offerings, the cigar lounge offerings and service standards.
Foster a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere in the cigar lounge, ensuring a memorable experience for members and guests.
Help foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among staff.
Manage other activities relating to or resulting from what is indicated in the previous points.

**Key Competencies**:
**Required Education and Experience**:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Previous experience (3+ years) in a cigar-related role, such as a cigar lounge manager or cigar sommelier, in a high-end establishment.
Knowledge of one or more foreign languages (min. fluent in Italian and English).

**General Knowledge and Technical Skills**:
Extensive knowledge of premium cigars, including brands, blends, origins, and aging processes.
Familiarity with cigar accessories, such as cutters, lighters, and humidors.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide personalized recommendations based on individual preferences.
