For a prestigious multinational company, leader in the oil and energy sector, we are looking for a Technical Advisor based in Italy.
**Posizione**:
The Technical Advisor for Italy will be part of the technical Helpdesk Team in Europe and support the direct and indirect lubricants business from the Italy by helping customers, colleagues and user with technical details regarding products (mostly lubricants).
Main tasks:
- Provide general technical support to sales staff and customers. Customers will range from large global accounts, OEMs, the distributor up to the end users (Public)
- Participate in virtual or face to face customers training, seminars, exhibitions, etc.
- Balancing technical requirements with commercial awareness
- Act as quality complaint resolution owner and use Technical Document Generator for getting technical datasheets localized into Italian language
- Build good relationship and networking within the company, knowing all the information resources, whilst remaining problem owner
- Liaise with all other LoB to get appropriate knowledge and competence to manage expected queries properly
With its own oil condition monitoring service, the company offers a key service to lubricant's customers: they can send used oil samples to one of the contracted lab and get them analysed.
The Technical Advisor provides support on the service, that includes:
- Set-up of new customers in the system
- Support customers by guiding them to do the task by themselves on the tool
- Raise tickets regarding issues and follow up with global IT team and follow up issues with the lab supplier
- Provide training to colleagues from sales or other customer facing departments and maybe a few customers
- Recommend test suites and explain details of test results
- Be pro-active in growing and improving company's tools databases
**Requisiti**:
- Good technical mindset and background (Engineering background would be preferrred)
- Technical Services Knowledge & understanding of oil analysis
- Customer facing interaction
- Good communication skills
- Good language skills both in Italian and English
