Hyatt Regency Rome Central is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager to join our pre-opening team.

The role will report to the Executive Assistant Manager.

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a newly renovated contemporary 5 star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.

The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:
Operational Oversight
- Ensure smooth coordination with other departments, such as Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B, to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and optimize room availability and revenue through effective room allocation and up-selling strategies.

Guest Relations
- Act as the primary contact for guest issues and escalations, resolving them promptly and professionally.
- Oversee VIP guest arrivals and departures, ensuring personalized service.
- Implement initiatives to gather and respond to guest feedback to improve service quality.

Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, train, and develop front office staff to meet operational and service standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and feedback sessions to enhance team performance.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.

Financial and Amministrative Duties
- Ensure accurate billing procedures and proper cash handling practices.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the Front Office department.

Compliance and Standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment.
- Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols within the department.

**Skills and requirements**:
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

At least 3-5 years of experience in front office operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial position.

Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality environments is highly desirable.

Proficiency in Opera Cloud.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Fluency in english; additional language skills are a plus.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is essential.

Team performance and adherence to brand standards.
