For our HQ in Italy, we’re looking for a Director Purchasing Italy.

This role reports into the VP Italy and has the main objective continuously improving our customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.

What you will do:

- Execute the strategy and growth plan for AUTO1's Italy Consumer business units (C2B)
- Monitor key performance indicators to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the existing C2B unit with around 200 employees and 65+ branches
- Ensure recruitment, hiring, training and personal development of the employees in all Consumer business units
- Support & execute planning and initiatives of centralized functions
- Develop a team of Regional and Vice Regional Area Managers to help you control the 200 employees around the Country
- Lead the Real Estate & Procurement team to expand and maintain the buying infrastructure (branches)
- Manage the Customer Service teams (30+) and have the responsibility to supervise and monitor the whole purchasing procedures.
- Ensure that each branch is safe and comply with local regulations
- Execute and improve key performance indicators to manage efficiency in depth.

**What you should bring**:

- 7+ years leadership experience
- Highly strategic problem solver with ability to drive detailed cross-functional projects, strong analytical skills and fast decision-making
- Strong operational expertise, with experience in process optimization, operational excellence, lean office
- Proven track record of personal and professional achievements
- Truly entrepreneurial attitude, driven, restless personality and a strong desire for growth while always keeping attention to the details
- Exceptional managerial and analytical skills with the ability to work and manage in fast-paced and dynamically changing environments
- International experience in centralized organizations is preferred but not required
- Master excellent verbal and written communication in English and Italian.
