Product Line Controller

The challenge

What you will do

Inside the Administration, Finance and Control Department, the Product Line Controller will be the point of reference of the business sector of reference for the Finance community.

Reliable Partner for the Business Sector, providing financial insights for strategy definition and deployment, granting support for any controlling and business proliferation analysis, and in charge of monitoring the Business Plan, Budget, Forecast execution and following up the investments.

Main activities:

- Coordination under the financial aspects of the special projects spending vs dedicated budget and the overall respect of the budget
- Prepare the periodical reporting to support the performance analysis of the Business Sector
- Monitoring of the investment process from the budget definition to the invoice booking. It will also be in charge of the management of the investment in SAP.
- Analysis of divisional cost with special attention to the headcount
- Supports the business sector in the portfolio analysis to maximise profit
- Participate to the monthly closure process preparing reporting and ad hoc analysis, in coordination with the industrial as well as commercial controlling teams
- Performs Product mix as well as Margin and profitability analysis
- New product business case and development

What you need to succeed
- University degree in Economics, Engineering Management
- At least 5 years of controlling experience
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Good knowledge of accounting
- Good knowledge of excel, access, SAP, HFM, Datawarehousing, Oracle EPM suite
- Experience in industrial controlling and factory performance control is a plus
- Good interpersonal and networking skills, both within the finance community and the Business of reference, as well as with other members of the broader Operations team
- Good organizational and planning skills
