What you will do

The Marketing, Ecosystem and Direct to Consumer Controller will be point of contact for the HQ European Marketing team, providing financial insights to ensure optimal use of commercial resources, evaluating the investments, supporting the Business Plans definition, budget/forecast process with the final goal to facilitate the strategy deployment across the Region. He/she will be point of reference for Marketing topics for the whole Finance community in the region, and especially in the Headquarter.

Main activities:

- Business partner for the Ecosystem business projects, supporting the business plan definition, as well as following up on the results, coordinating with the businesses of reference
- Supports the Marketing team in:

- Marketing investments analysis to maximization of the investments in line with brand strategy deployment, identifying gaps and opportunities, proposing/discussing action plans.
- Ensure quality financial information is used by the business for decision making and that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood, preparing, and reviewing appropriate reporting
- Review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop/follow up action plans
- Ensures HQE Marketing costs recharge to the countries is properly calculated, documented and deployed.
- Promotes and is a key actor to reinforce Forecast accuracy.
- Business partner for the Direct to Consumer business, supporting the business plan definition, as well as following up on the results, coordinating with the businesses of reference
- Defines, structures and sets up an adequate system framework for the Marketing controlling in all the systems, liaising with IT, HQ/FP&A and local Finance to support a compliant and efficient Marketing costs reporting in line with HQ expectations ( SAP implementation, CAS, Qlik, etc)
- Be the Ambassador to the Finance Community from the Marketing Team of reference (and viceversa) to ensure transparency, alignment, and proactive collaboration
- Custodian of internal controls and assurance that marketing investments practices comply with internal and external guidelines
- Ad hoc projects and analysis required

What you need to succeed
- University degree in Economics, Engineering management
- At least 5 years of Controlling experience in multinational Company
- Experience in marketing, commercial and sales controlling is a plus
- Fluent in English and Italian. Any additional language is a plus
- Good knowledge of excel, access, SAP, HFM (preferred), Data warehousing, Oracle EPM suite;
- Good interpersonal and networking skills, both within the finance community and the Function of reference, as well as with other members of the broader team.
- Good organizational and planning skills
