- Bid Manager

**Contract Type**:Permanent

**Job Location**:Italy - Rome

The Bid Manager is responsible for generating quotes for solutions and products business, ensuring competitive pricing and technology are at the forefront. Additionally, provides technical and commercial support to Bid Managers in the creation of offers, as well as in the tendering process

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing high-quality, accurate, and timely proposals that include pricing, schedules, proposed solutions, and other relevant information.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of the company's services, products, and competitive landscape.
- Engage with clients, in coordination with the Regional General Manager, to clarify requirements and facilitate bid response preparation
- Conduct contract win/loss analysis to identify areas for improvement in the bid process
- Ensure adherence to bid management processes and standard operating procedures
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with bids and contracts
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure bids align with the company's strategic objectives and governance.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bid management or related commercial roles
- Professional written and verbal Italian and English communication skills. Knowledge of Spanish preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- General Knowledge of Italian competitive bidding laws, regulations, and practices, in particular the ones related to the Italian Public Tenders disciplined by the **Nuovo Codice Appalti (D.Lgs. 36/2023)**

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- IT Skills:

- Use of calculation tools
- Use of SAP and/or sales database
- Good knowledge of MS Office
