**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teaching & Learning_
- Plan and deliver challenging and interactive Chemistry lessons in line with the British National Curriculum, IGCSE, and A Level specifications.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations, ensuring they develop both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills.
- Design and conduct experiments, practical demonstrations, and investigative projects to enhance students’ understanding of scientific principles.
- Student Assessment & Progress_
- Regularly assess and track student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide targeted feedback and academic support to help students achieve their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress effectively with parents and school leadership.
- Curriculum Development & Innovation_
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Chemistry curriculum.
- Inspire students through STEM projects, extracurricular science clubs, and academic competitions.
- Professional Development & Collaboration_
- Stay updated with the latest scientific advancements and pedagogical approaches.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school initiatives.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Essential_
- A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level, including IGCSE and A Level.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, experimental techniques, and chemical processes.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Desirable_
- Experience teaching in an international or British school setting.
- Passion for extracurricular science activities and mentoring students for science fairs and Olympiads.
