**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

British American Tobacco Italia is looking for a talented and brilliant intern, with a strong passion for the trade world and particularly for the retail channel built within Shopping Malls, Electronic Chains and Tobacco shops, to join the Retail Consumer Activation Team based in Rome. Our team is multi-category: 4 categories to be managed inside the POS. As an intern in our team you will get the chance to discover the retail world and its consumers’ thinking/habits. You will be fully involved in the process of analyzing and finding new solutions for our retail channels. Agency management will be a core task as well. You will also have exposure to activities related to Brand Deployment, Field Force and Trade Marketing.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Plan, support, report and monitor the implementation campaign of retail activity with the aim of ensuring best in class experience
- Provide Maintenance and advice on retail and Commercial staff (Digital platforms)
- Contribute on campaign implementation inside the POS and participate to new POS materials development
- Screens ticket management
- Supervise and support in new contracts procedure and provide support on ad-hoc projects
- Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry
- Work with the team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
- Circulate results with all the relevant stakeholders and relate with suppliers to manage operative issues
- Understand competition’s channel strategy

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office package, in particular of Excel & PowerPoint
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian
- Current enrolment/degree in Marketing, Digital, Business Management or other related fields of study
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong team player attitude
- Positive and constructive attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing environment
- Previous working experience - especially in a Retail Marketing environment is considered a plus
