**Sales Specialist directly manages a sales territory, in which he/she is responsible for achieving sales targets by promoting the company's product portfolio, related technologies and therapies. He also provides support to other sales areas managed by his sales manager, through presence in the surgery room, training operators on the use of company products, technical and clinical presentations, and implementation of sales campaigns.**:
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS***:
**Achieve sales target, compile sales forecasts and propose development actions for potential centres. Provide technical support in the surgery room when needed. Attend conferences and meetings and support field marketing actions. Organise refresher training for doctors and departmental staff and product presentations. Provide market/product/competitor information and any useful information to develop a business strategy and collaborate in the preparation of contracts to participate in tenders.**:
**The Sales Specialist must also**:
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:
- **Decision making**
- **Communication.**
- **Relationship building skills.**
- **Problem solving.**
- **Good knowledge of the English language.**
- **Good knowledge of IT tools (in particular Excel and Powerpoint).**
- **Customer orientation and strong listening skills, focused on results, positive and proactive attitude.**
**EDUCATION**:
**Degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar discipline.**:
**EXPERIENCE**:
**Ideally 3-4 years of experience as Technical Sales or Product Specialist in the cardiac surgery or similar industry in the medical device business.**:
