**What we offer**:
Dematic is looking for a **Plant and Business Controller **for the Operations Manufacturing plant in Cernusco sul Naviglio. He/She will be responsible for **providing financial direction **and **driving operating profit and cash flow improvement **. He/She will ensure conformance to FASB requirements and GAAP and will be responsible for direct and indirect talent development.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The Plant and Business Controller is going to:

- **Define strategies to achieve the financials goals **of the factories, identify leading and lagging key performance indicators
- Prepare and present cost center forecasts, **monthly review of **a **ctual to forecast and plan, and drive the annual budget process for that location
- Compile and review various **financial reports, plans and budgets **at complex levels (rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, financial and expense performance comparisons).
- Calculate, review and **ensure accuracy in standard costs **including purchase price variance and production variances
- Prepare a monthly forecast for upcoming workload for location based on both backlog (booked work) and new business
- Establish SQDC (Safety Quality Delivery Cost) mentality in the plant and communicate the financial performance of the plant on a daily basis
- Develop strong financial and internal controls for the plants and ensure procedures are followed in accordance to company standards
- **Review Monthly Projects FC **and check actual deviations
- Take care of dedicated Business Cost centers to ensure full P&L view of the business
- Business Partner with Operation and Execution Management

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Education & Experience Preferences**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, or similar studies
- **5-8 years **relevant experience as a **Manufacturing Controller**:

- Skilled in **SAP **and Hyperion-Oracle.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrated ability to make decisions
- Strong communication skills including an ability to explain results to Management and make recommendations as necessary
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Team player with a customer service mindset
- Demonstrated proficiency in **Microsoft Suite **of products (especially Excel) and various **ERP **systems.
- Travel percentage up to **15% **also in EMEA Region
