She/he will be part of the Satellite System and IVVQ Engineering Team, coordinating the IVVQ Team and will functionally respond to the System Engineering Manager (SEM) of the project.
IVVQ Engineering activities are mainly related to the S/C functional and environmental verification, devoted to both Platform subsystems and Payload(s) verification, therefore a large multidisciplinary experience is advisable. Typical payloads are in the field of Earth observation (Synthetic Aperture Radar), but also in the Navigation area and Telecommunication
Well recognized experience of spacecraft level verification process, full test campaign and team management capacity are required
**_A: General _**
- Knowledge of management of technical requirements, from the specification tree to the relationships between the various levels of a complex system (platform, payload, satellite, E2E).
- Knowledge of the DOORS company tool for requirements management
Familiarity with Flow down concepts, traceability, impact analysis in case of change / deviation and related documentation (Traceability matrix, CR / CN, RFD / W)
- ECSS standard familiarity
- Familiarity with project development documentation (DDP), model philosophy and compliance matrices
- Attitude to co-engineering with the project team, to ensure integrity, clarity and completeness of the requirements database, as well as verifiability
**_B: Verification Engineering _**
- Definition and management of a verification plan (IVVQ Plan) at the satellite level, keeping in mind the lower level verification plans
- Differentiation between verification plans for a qualification or acceptance, knowledge of the various verification approaches in the case of EM / EQM development models, QM qualification, PFM proto-qualification, FM acceptance / flight
- Knowledge of ECSS standards in verification and testing
- Definition of the verification methods applicable to each requirement and management of the verification control document (VCD / DVCM)
- Familiarity in the use of DOORS and engineering practices for verification activities
- Support for the management of internal boards and with the client for verification validation (VCB)
- Attitude to co-engineering with the project team and AIT, to ensure completeness of verification data and clarity in the evidence for the closure of the requirements
**_C: Test Requirements and Test Evaluation _**
- Ability to define test requirements according to the checks required for the various project requirements
- Attitude to co-engineering with the project team and AIT, to define the implementation details and the test execution phases
- Definition of a test plan (TP) and ability to manage any changes. Analysis and evaluation of the AIT activity plan
- Familiarity in the use of DOORS and engineering practices for consolidating test verification
- Participation in the test campaign, including abroad
- Validation of tests with drafting of evaluation reports (Test Evaluation Report)
- Support for completion and closure of the verification cycle by means of VCD and final VCB
- Support for the definition of a test plan for the launch campaign of a satellite
