Finance Strategy Manager

Role purpose The Finance Strategy Manager will work on our most critical strategic and operational challenges to support the definition and execution of our long-term strategy. The selected person will work closely together across the departments to support rapid growth, drive cooperation across the functions, and help the organization decide and execute on a strategic direction. This role will report to the Finance Strategy Director and will be exposed to a variety of activities that are considered strategic to the success of the business globally and which imply the ability to think strategically and act tactically. Key Responsibilities - Strategy & Growth: - Autonomously execute key priority projects in the organization, working cross-functionally to structure problems, analyse opportunities, and develop solutions and actionable recommendations and results through a rigorous, data-driven process; - Leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to support the creation of long-term business strategies and help execute on specific areas. - Support the periodical preparation of YNAP strategic plans, ie. the 3 years plan and the 10 years plan; - Support a smooth management of YNAP Joint Ventures, by facilitating the alignment among all the roles involved in the key activities, like periodical business updates, preparation of financial exercises, etc.; - Support the coordination and preparation of business review meetings with Richemont documenting key outcomes and next steps, following up with stakeholders to ensure that commitments made are on track for completion; - Ensure a smooth execution for the whole YNAP reporting framework (Board Reports, Financial Results and Annual Report submissions for Richemont, in collaboration with the Communication team) - Operations: - Working closely with our Business and Finance teams to gather, analyze and act on the data needed for the Department Management to make strategic decisions (e.g. companywide KPIs), supporting both our long terms success and our annual plan; - Support the development of strategic business cases working with cross-functional teams outlining business opportunity, rationale, and execution plans to achieve the vision; Uncovering areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity and accelerate execution, providing insights to the business through analytics and market research as required; The type of person we are looking for: - Minimum 5+ years of total work experience, including significant experience in strategy, business operations and project management, in management consulting firms or corporate strategy roles. - MBA degree preferred or equivalent practical experience. - Impeccable strategic and operational thinking, with a work experience that shows a history of both strategic and "hands-on" projects: - Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy; - Demonstrated capacity to be at easy with financial planning tools and methodologies; - Track record of delivering results, having a bias for action, and translating strategy to implementation; - Process management skills and experience managing and improving complex projects/processes; - Experience with analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis and communicating findings to management; - Natural curiosity, exceptional analytical skills and the ability to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data, formulate and test hypotheses, synthesize your findings and draw insightful conclusions; - Ability to remain focused, organized and structured in a dynamic environment, bringing order to chaos and driving execution; - A go-getter attitude; you’re willing to be proactive to take on new projects and responsibilities. - Ability to work across teams, build relationships and leading via influence. - Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
