For a family based in Milano, Italy, EDMAR int. is seeking a highly experienced and caring live-in nanny to provide full-time childcare support for a 2.5-year-old daughter.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Childcare: Provide attentive and age-appropriate care for our 2.5-year-old daughter, ensuring her well-being, safety, and happiness at all times.
- Daily Routine: Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine, including feeding, bathing, dressing, playtime, and nap schedules.
- Educational Activities: Organize and engage the child in stimulating educational and recreational activities that promote her intellectual and physical development.
- Emotional Support: Foster a warm and loving environment, offering emotional support and encouragement to the child.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Hygiene and Health: Ensure the child's personal hygiene, including diaper changes, potty training, and assistance with toileting.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child's areas, such as tidying up toys, doing laundry, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Outings: Accompany the child on outings, such as visits to the park, playdates, and educational trips, ensuring her safety and well-being at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Experience: Proven experience as a nanny, preferably with toddlers of similar age.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in childcare and first aid training are highly
- Genuine Love for Children: Display a deep affection for children and a genuine desire to contribute positively to their growth and development.
- Dependability: Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in fulfilling duties and commitments.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in Italian, English, or French is required, allowing for effective communication with the child and family members.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, as per the family's needs.
**Terms of employment**
- Full-time live-in position, based in Milano, Italy.
- Accommodation: Private room and bathroom provided within the family's residence.
- Working Hours: The nanny will be expected to work approximately 40-50 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the child's needs.
- Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, with paid vacation and sick leave.
**Salary**: From €2,000.00 per month
