As a result of continues growth, a vacancy has arisen in our Finance Team for an **italian speaker Financial Manager** (Rome´s office - EUR).

The Financial Manager is responsible for maintaining a log and reviewing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger, monthly closing reports in line with internal cost control accounting rules, appropriate balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating and reconciling depreciation of all fixed asset accounts, bank reconciliations on a monthly basis, preparing annual work papers for year-end audits.

**Responsibilities**
- Review of Credit control, budgets, cash flows and payments
- Review of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Dealing with customers and other departments especially engineering and legal
- Completion of annual statutory accounts under IFRS or FRS and Italian GAAP
- Supervision of month end closes
- Preparation and review of quarterly financial report and consolidation under IFRS GAAP
- Liaison with auditors
- Involvement in annual close procedure
- Drafting a procedures manual and updating of all procedures applicable to the clients portfolio
- Review of associates work under Sox matrix and assistance at ops committee if necessary
- Review of scope of QE work and SLS

**Requirements**_(please note that these requirements are essential for this role)_
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance required. CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as financial management and accounting.
- Strong expertise in financial operations, planning, budgeting and reporting.
- Languages: at least fluent** Italian and English.**Will be assessed during the interview. Spanish will be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Expert knowledge in Excel needed including VLOOKUP’s, formulas and Pivot Tables.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and Italian GAAP.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other departments.
