**Role Purpose/Mission**:
Manage R&D projects in close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Procurement, Packaging, Initiative Leaders)
Ensure close technical follow up with Third Party Manufacturers (co-design formulas, initiate discussions, and guide TPMs towards Coty standards)
Collect technical documents (formulas, raw materials, test results) from TPMs for Product Information File (PIF) and registration
Check formula compliancy (country check, safety, blacklists, formulation guidelines)
Coordinate claim & safety testing
When required, manage the development of new internal formulas for Kylie Skin and SKKN brands
Contribute to the Skincare Strategy
Liaise with internal R&D capabilities (Monaco COE)

Main Accountabilities
Co-design formulas with TPMs
Guide TPMs so they have a good understanding of formula expectations (texture, blacklists, formulation guidelines, costs, quality etc.)
Support TPMs in Coty standards understanding (quality, safety, regulatory)
Ensure quality design by defining formula specifications and initiate deviation and derogation reports when needed

Ensure Raw Material data completion and Formula readiness
Collect technical documents (formulas, raw materials, test results) from TPM once formula is approved
Target 80% document collection within a month (On Time In Full - OTIF)
Provide RM data to MD Team for RM qualification
Enter formula into the systems and check formula country compliancy with Regulatory and vs Blacklists
Check and release INCI List to Marketing for Artwork Approval

Follow up on test progression and result collection from TPMs, request internal testing (microbiology, safety, efficacy) if needed
Collect test reports
Check and ensure report data are correct, ask for changes if needed
Follow up weekly with TPMs
Request bulk and packaging for testing once formula is approved
Coordinate and ensure with PIRS that test results will be delivered OTIF for safety and claim support
Ensure and coordinate claim approval

When required, develop internal new formulas and deliver qualitative, stable, safe, compliant formulas OTIF
Connect with Product Innovation and Product Development for platforming leverage
Formulate, submit, test, coordinate, industrialise
Define active ingredients and raw materials with manager matching product concept
Be the key contact with skincare CoE experts

Contribute to the Skincare Strategy Have a deep understanding of our brand portfolio Be always on the lookout for trends and new innovations Build a deep market and consumer understanding Monitor competitor initiatives and activities Propose actively ideas that could fuel the innovation pipeline

Report & share weekly project & development progresses
Report progresses on formula & project development
Fill out project tracker and ensure precise completion on a weekly basis
Ensure alignment with direct manager and good communication flow
Write meeting minutes and ensure a weekly follow-up

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry
3-5 years experiences in formulation
Profound raw material know-how
Organizational and Project Management skills
Consumer and market driven
Communicative personality
Fluent in English
