**About the role**:

- This is a fast paced and dynamic role to assist implementing assigned delivery projects and initiatives from proof of principle feasibility to successful launch into market.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Working knowledge of the technology, manufacturing, performance and analytical techniques required in their product area
- Understanding of the Product Development Process as it pertains to R&D functions supported by the direct manager, support the technical content of technical product dossier ensuring that all sections are complete and consistent
- Responsible for the maintenance of his/her laboratory equipment and working space by following the Safety and Good Housekeeping requirements
- Ensuring that all development activities on assigned projects conforms to legislative, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements, including the adoption and tracking of laboratory best practices
- Participate in projects carrying out e.g.: Production of lab samples and samples for consumer testing Performance tests Analytical tests Stability tests Support to industrial trials Specification setting Product scale up with supply chain (R&D specific)

**The experience we're looking for**:

- Must be qualified as laboratory assistant
- Good knowledge of English is necessary, fluency in English is advantageous, good Italian language skills.
- Technical expertise and curiosity with the ability to develop and assess new technologies
- Technical and scientific experience in technology/method development and/or analysis in a Research & Development environment
- Ability to understand basic requirements during practical implementation of innovation including in a manufacturing set/up is essential
- Understanding of physical and chemical principles
- Ability to turn functioning prototypes into finished products
- Basic understanding of Supply environment
