Engineering Operations Specialist

**Job Description Summary**: The Engineering Operations specialist will enable the engineering organization to reach year and multi-year targets, ensuring efficient operations and driving a culture of planning and program control across the engineering department.

He/she drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.

**Essential Responsibilities**

The Engineering Operations Specialist will proactively collaborate with Avio Aero engineering sections Operation Leaders to deliver the Engineering goals with assigned resources.
In particular in this role he/she will:

- Build year over year budget collecting all sections needs and track plan execution according to type of cost (internal labour, external labour, hardware..) and in terms of color of Money (company funded, Customer funded or others)
- Provide Engineering Operations team with actual reports as needed on department KPI (outsourcing usage& forecast, yield, OCPH..) in close cooperation with Engineering Finance FP&A with the scope to enable organization decision making
- Measure and analyze the Engineering Performance by tracking financial KPI and promoting recovery actions within Engineering Organization.
- Use Lean tool and culture to simplify his/her day by day work and engineering process related to KPI tracking
- Use problem Solving approach to reach assigned target in a timely manner leveraging on data driven decision making approach

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Master/Bachelor Degree from an accredited university or college (preferred Engineering or Economics)
- Knowledge of operations management basics of a complex organization
- Knowledge of Economics, Financial and Accounting (basics) principles
- Ability to execute plans with a sense of urgency
- Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Project) proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

**Desired Characteristics**
- Knowledge of AvioAero Planning/Accounting tools (SAP, SPP)
- Knowledge of Avio Aero products
- English fluent
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
- Ability to guide and lead others in a matrix organization
