Job opportunity - _**_Vertiv _**_is looking for a new _**_EMEA Project Quality Manager _**_to join our dynamic team in _**_Padua, Piove di Sacco _**_**_Who are we?

- In particular he/she will be in close contact with the local Service organization and the central functions (R&D, Marketing, Service and Quality) to coordinate communication between the 2 parties and assuring the customer requirements are understood and timely applied. _
- He/she will coordinate the activities that people of central functions have to do at site to support the local organization (if requested or needed). Will supervise on site, if necessary. _
- He/she will follow up problems found from design phase to commissioning, involving the relevant departments.**_What kind of work will you be doing?

- _Support the central functions to have smooth process from ETO design phase to assembly and test activity done in the factory; related activities to follow are: kick off meeting, PDCA document preparation, closure meeting, assembly process, final test, witness test, etc. _
- _Collect information and documentation (technical and commercial, i.e. technical drawings, order documentation, unit setting, etc.) of the projects from central functions (R&D, Marketing, Service, Operations and Quality) and make them available to local organization to support the site activity. _
- _Collect information on regular basis about site situation (site activity plan, utilities availability, etc.) and share them with central functions (R&D and Service) to support and facilitate activities to be done at site by the central functions (if any). _
- _Monitor site activity and facilitate communication between central and local teams in case of need. _
- _Report any issues found at site by local team or during his/her visits at site, to the departments that have to manage and fix the issue (Service, Production, R&D, Quality, etc.). _
- _Visit the sites involved in the major projects before, during and/or after the units commissioning (based on specific needs), to support local organization and collect useful information for products improvement. _
- _Follow up any activity done by central functions to assure they have been done and completed as expected. _
- _Monitor the product behavior after hand over to the customer, and report to factory (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.) major issues on those products.**_What would be the best qualifications?
- **
- _Technical school background: university degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus. _
- _Good knowledge of HVAC-R products and principles. _
- _3-5 or more years of experience in technical position (like Quality, Service, Product Manager). _
- _Good English. _
- _Computer literate, specifically the MS Office package (Access included). _
- _Ability to plan activities in short mid term. _
- _Ability to coordinate people from different departments. _
- _Ability to manage multiple tasks setting the right priority. _
- _Highly customer focused. _
- _Problem solving capability. _
- _Attitude to listen customers' (internal and external) needs. _
- _Working in team. _
