**Functional Safety Project Leader**:
As Functional Safety Project Leader, you will ensure the proper tailoring of Functional Safety (FuSa) process at Project level, coordinating FuSa activities according to the Project milestones and ensuring the process implementation.

**A day in life**:

- Promote the Safety Culture across the Project team
- Be responsible for FuSa process tailoring according to applicable OEM requirements/ASIL
- Be responsible for FuSa process implementation in order to fulfill OEM requirements, support the project team on ISO 26262 requirements understanding
- Provide work products of ISO 26262 pat 2/8 on FuSa strategy/planning/confirmation (e.g. DIA, Safety Plan, Safety Case, Confirmation measures)
- Support FuSa activities in charge to other R&D departments (e.g. DFMEA, HW/SW safety analysis)
- Support the configuration management of FuSa work products according to Quality Management system
- Be responsible for Project related FuSa audits/assessments by third parties (e.g. Customer/Assessor); report results to Project Management/FuSa Manager
- Contribute to budget estimation for FuSa related activities

**Must have**:

- Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent or ISO26262 certification
- Excellent knowledge of ISO 26262 standard and strong understanding of hybrid vehicles
- Expertise in risk/change/configuration management
- Advanced knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

**Nice to have**:

- Diplomacy and perseverance as well as good communication skills
- Good team work and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively train people
- Both Project Management experience and experience in vehicle integration and design verification, vehicle and attribute system
- Familiarity with requirements management and associated tools (e.g.: DOORS)
